Hong Kong Trip Dec 2014

13 Mar

Hello peeps !

After Harrison’s wedding , I stayed for another day before I went back, it was like a 2night event LOL

Met up with Adaline for very nice Vegetarian Dim Sum in Jordan:

HK was not so rushed when it was during Christmas season, I guess it was the festive spirit:

I went to Central , using the ferry from Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Terminal :

They had a new flyer at Central !

I checked in with this photo on Facebook and just happened to saw Angus being tagged, he was in HK too!

So….. We met up!

Oh, I was really evil… Being the blur queen who had been to HK so many times a year, I can still forget where is Chai Wan.. So.. Oh well, Angus stayed in Chai Wan , and I asked him come to temple street for supper at like 12am+

Poor thing , he had to travel all the way down LOL

Tina told me that HK people will only meet up damn in the night if they are really good friends with you, and she commented that Angus and me must have known each other for a long time LOL

The truth is : I only met him once during a day trip in Singapore when Wincy brought him to meet me, but I guess it was fate that brought us together 🙂

This silly guy started washing all the utensils etc.

Even though he didn’t slept for the entire day , he had to accompany me till 4am , oops! Sorry!

Knowing that I loved HK milk tea , he brought me to drink it at Cha Chan Teng in HK:

Anyways, while we went down the stairs at the cafe, I asked him , what if I suddenly fell down , he just replied” I cannot help you!” hahahahhahaha! True enough~

Thanks so much Angus!

THANK YOU SO MUCH~ See you soon in Australia!

Harrison & Candy Wedding Hong Kong Dec 2014

29 Dec

Hello People~

Went to attend Harrison & Candy’s wedding in Hong Kong in December 🙂

I was very touched to see him getting married, who knew that our friendship could last so long ? We met during student exchange program in my days in ITE in 2008.

The pastor said this during the wedding, which was quite true” 你一结婚就要学习忍, 以前你们谈恋爱的时候,女方会花很多时间为你打扮, 男方会愿意花很多时间等你打扮, 当你结婚后,每天看到对方,还没梳头刷牙就见到对方。现在女方不会为了见你花时间打扮,男方不会为了见你等你很长时间,所以第一件事就是学会忍”。 This was quite funny.

Translated to English, ” the first thing after marriage for both parties is to learn how to tolerate, while dating , the girl will spend hours dolling herself just to meet you , the guy will wait a long time for you to get ready, after marriage, you see each other daily, even without combing your hair nor brushing teeth, you will meet everyday. The lady will not spend hours to doll up just to meet you , neither the guy will wait for long hours for you to get ready, so the first thing is to learn to tolerate”.

Well I guess, HK people are more realistic compared to other places where they simply said good things LOL, but quite true though 🙂

It was my first time attending a HK style banquet , Tina went with me , Ken needed to go Macau for work:

They were so busy the whole night ^_^

The banquet had everything in 12 portions , it was funny, I asked Tina was the table very big , because we could only sit 10 persons in one table, but in HK , it was 12/table LOL

Oh well, yes , the table was quite big as per HK standard 🙂

At the end of every Chinese HK style wedding they will have oranges for you to take back, I asked Tina why, but somehow it was just the norm and nobody could gave me an answer on this LOL

Blissful wedding !

Seoul Trip Jan 2015

Hello peeps~

Rice cakes in spicy sauce with Ramen and lots of toppings! Seafood etc.!

After everything, the leftover sauce will be used for friend rice! SIMPLY AWESOME!

I went to Herbalife in Seoul:

All the forms were in Hanguk, luckily I have someone to translate for me hahahahaha!

Then we went to cafe hoping with my dear Yukyeong:

Dinner was some kind of pork ribs soup , I was saying I wanted to try it just like those Korean dramas where they had a big pot and was sitting down on the floor with a low squarish table, and TADAH~

My favorite fried rice~

Then I went to DMZ tour:

Then TADAH~ My favorite actions of all: EAT TOFU!

This cute south Korean soldier , he is so charming! Got tofu jiu eat lor~ HAhahahaha~

Theres this interesting part about Dorasan station:

It was built for thru train for between North and South Korea, but sadly, the plan never went through…

But oh well.. at least there’s some hope ^_^

Then some random walk around:

Follow by dinner:

Went to Nansam tower:

It was a damn slope man~ I loved everything about Korea, except the stairs and slope~ Omg! Other than that, everything is awesome~

Night view of Seoul:

If you’re feeling adventurous , you can go down the stairs from the towel:

Went to Korean BBQ:

It was Jiyun Oppa who brought me out this time ^_^

He brought me to do glasses as well, coz the snow was so glaring , oh well, I just denied myself glasses coz I don’t want to wear them LOL

Then food again:

I fulfilled my mission to try those foods in Korean drama!~

Then I went to Kyung Bok Gung/ 景福宫:

Hello people~

I love Macau , as per always, nice food , cultural feeling , close to HK without the rush, nice friendly locals and awesome sightseeing:

But I wonder how is it possible for the apartments to be so compact?

Bus driver so friendly, the fare was 5 Macanese pataca, I wanted to put in 10HKD coin, but they told me they don’t take 10HKD coin, then I wanted to put in 20HKD , the bus driver so nice, gave me a free ride instead, he even asked me where was my destination and stopped for me ^_^

Yes, I had bad skin day LOL, I’m human too ok ? hahahhaha!

I was looking around for Marco’s shop , I knew him in Macau a few years ago when I first came, so I came back to find him, some street views of Macau:

Then some lovely food famous from Macau:

The pretty night buildings of Macau:

Met with Marco for dinner:

Then he drove me around for a stroll of Macau, really nice and peaceful:

Thank you Marco!
